Toyota & Ford — Born Social Projects Overview
Working with Born Social, I was brought on to deliver motion graphics and video editing for branded content campaigns with Toyota and Ford. These fast-turnaround projects required strong conceptual thinking, a deep understanding of platform-specific content, and the ability to interpret and enhance pre-existing brand assets. I was responsible for shaping narrative flow, crafting visually engaging edits, and applying branded motion elements that aligned with both automotive giants’ identities. The final deliverables were optimised for social media performance while staying visually distinctive and on-message.

Creative Consulting
During the consultation phase, I collaborated with Born Social’s internal creative and accounts teams to understand each brand’s campaign objectives and audience engagement goals.
I provided feedback on initial concepts and advised on how best to utilise existing footage, typography, and brand visual assets within motion-led formats. My recommendations focused on translating brand values into compelling visual language while adhering to platform constraints, such as duration, format, and engagement tactics.

Storyboarding & Video Planning
Before diving into production, I developed a series of structured video outlines and motion direction boards, tailored to each campaign’s goals. These outlines ensured consistency in tone, message clarity, and seamless pacing. For Toyota and Ford, particular attention was paid to timing, transitions, and flow between scenes, balancing fast-moving edits with moments
of visual emphasis on key messaging or product shots.
This pre-visualisation ensured all stakeholders were aligned and allowed a smooth progression into post-production.

Motion Graphics & Video Editing
In the final stage, I handled all editing and motion design, assembling footage, integrating animated type, logo animations, and adding branded motion treatments. Each edit was designed to resonate with social-first viewers, using rhythm, clarity, and subtle transitions to hold attention while staying true to the visual identity of Toyota and Ford. Where needed, I layered in branded audio cues and effects to elevate the production quality.
The final videos delivered to Born Social were clean, professional, and ready for cross-platform rollout.
